Priyanka Chopra managed to pull off her role as the strong-willed and feisty Marathi girl, Sweety, with aplomb. She was very much in sync with her character and got her Maharashtrian accent right too. She played the sister of a powerful local goon Bhope. She displayed sizzling chemistry with co-star Shahid Kapoor and even enacted some intimates scenes with him in the film. She emerged as one of the film’s most impressive characters.
